This hands-on experience will guide you through the art of making two traditional and beloved Korean rice cakes: Tteokbokki (떡볶이). Whether you’re a culinary enthusiast or a curious beginner, this workshop offers a delightful journey into Korean cuisine.

  • Tteokbokki (떡볶이): Learn to make these spicy, chewy rice cakes that are a staple of Korean street food. Discover how to create the perfect sauce (spicy/ non-spicy) and achieve the ideal texture for this popular dish.

  • Overview of ingredients and tools.

2. Hands-on Rollin’ your TTeok

  • Tteokbokki (떡볶이):
    • Step-by-step guidance on preparing the rice cakes
    • Demonstration of making the spicy sauce
    • Participants create their own Tteokbokki version

3. Tasting & Sharing 

  • Enjoy the delicious rice cakes
  • Share your creations and insights with fellow participants

4. Q&A and Game

  • Ask questions and receive tips from the instructors
  • Participate in a fun rice cake-themed quiz or game
